Overview Duties Include:

• Collaborate closely with the principal investigator and the director of research to design studies and gather appropriate data.

Fully responsible for gaining and maintaining IRB approval on all studies.. Closely working on maintaining our research databases. Organizing data entry and ensuring the accuracy of data collection. This entails speaking and interacting with current and prospective patients on daily basis for study recruitment, enrollment, and follow-up. . Coordinate prompt payment of patient stipends and invoice sponsors for milestones. Generate new revenue through increased enrollment and compliance of studies. Collect, analyze, and interpret information from peer-reviewed scientific journals and/or through direct submissions by applying specific scientific content knowledge.

• Conduct independent research of scientific literature and other available research to add content to papers/projects/podcasts and identify upcoming research opportunities.
• Presentation coordination for national medical meetings, trade shows, and sales presentations. Periodically work with the marketing manager for research-related social media posts
• Communicate research results and needs with clinical and administrative staff, including physician assistants, medical assistants, and radiology technicians
• Represent research department to external study sponsor by facilitating frequent written and verbal communication

Skills:

• GCP Certification
• Medical research experience, expertise in orthopedics preferred
• A fast, accurate, and compelling writer, experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and deliver assignments on deadline
• Clear communicator.

Pay:

$23.98 - $28.88 per hour Expected hours: No more than 24.0 per week
