A Research Associate typically has more experience than a Research Assistant. Responsibilities can include the planning and design of research projects, conducting experiments, analyzing data, contributing to research publications or grant proposals, and collaborating with other researchers. Works in a variety of fields within science or the social sciences, in programs based at a university or research institution, or works on government or industry sponsored research projects. Conducts field or library research or recruits participants for a study; may also assist with legal research. These roles are often held by people with advanced degrees in their field of study with several years of experience in research or academia.
We are recruiting for a Product Research Associate to support human research studies within a collaborative lab environment focused on perception, cognition, neurophysiology, and the athlete experience. Our team is looking for someone who can help ensure strong participant experience, dependable data collection, and careful study execution from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
Execute human-subject research studies following established protocols and guidance from senior researchers. Prepare research spaces and materials, and support participants throughout the study process. Set up, calibrate, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain neuroscience research equipment, including EEG, fNIRS, and related physiological or behavioral measurement systems. Collect, organize, and quality-check research data while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and proper records.
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience or a closely related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience conducting or supporting human-subject research. Experience interacting directly with study participants and collecting human research data. Comfort setting up and operating cognitive and sensory neuroscientific equipment. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow established protocols accurately.
