Position Summary Information Job Description Summary:
The Center for Graduate Research and Education (Grad Center) seeks a year-round hourly graduate assistant ( GAH ) to join a dynamic, collaborative, student-centered team. This student will provide operational support to the Grad Center team and be the first point of contact for students in the Grad Center Lounge in Vasey Hall. Duties will include, but not be limited to, providing reception desk support to greet all visitors to the Grad Center, assist the Grad Center team with events and programming, act as an ambassador of the Grad Center to the University community, and assist with special research projects.

Requirements for this position include, but are not limited to: Superlative communication skills (written and oral) Research skills (online, data driven) A passion for graduate education and a commitment especially to Villanova's graduate student community Excellent organization and time management skills Outgoing, friendly, and personable demeanor
Additional Information:
Students receiving a tuition scholarship are welcome to apply to this position, which would provide hourly pay to supplement tuition remission received through their home department. Applications will be accepting on a rolling basis until the position is filled. Ideally, the student will begin onboarding in December, with a full start in the spring semester. Exact start date can be flexible based on the student's individual situation.
