The UVU Department of Communication is seeking a student to provide research assistance for the Public Speaking Program. The Student Research Assistant supports the Public Speaking Program through research, assessment, and program development activities. Under the direction of faculty and staff, the student assists with data collection, resource development, and projects that support student learning and program effectiveness. Gathering, compiling, cleaning, and/or entering data for assessment, reporting, and research projects. Support faculty and staff with research, special projects, and program initiatives. Prepare summaries, reports, and presentations to communicate research findings and project outcomes. High school diploma or equivalent education. Must be a current UVU student.

Preferred:

Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Professionalism. Good verbal and written communication skills. Organizational skills. Attention to detail.
