Clients include public and private companies as well as government agencies and high-profile individuals. Headquartered in Los Angeles, Sitrick has offices in Los Angeles, New York, North Carolina and Washington D.C. Associate, Crisis & Strategic Communications We are looking for an Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll support the day-to-day operations of professionals across our multi-office environment, as well as help improve the group's administrative processes. This person must be able to prioritize, multitask, and operate with urgency to deliver prompt, high-quality work. This position will report to a Member of the Firm. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Summary) Conduct daily legacy and social media monitoring and analysis using industry platforms; prepare briefings and summaries for distribution Conduct research and analysis for the firm's clients, using AI-assisted research and monitoring tools to work efficiently and surface insights faster; verify and validate sources for accuracy and completeness Draft and proofread reports, memos, and press releases — including using generative AI tools to accelerate first drafts, with all output reviewed and finalized by a human Develop social and legacy media lists and, with direction from executives, strategic plans Assist with business development ; prepare executive summaries and briefing documents Assist with scheduling, calendar management Maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive information, financial documents, and records Balance workload and meet deadlines across multiple concurrent projects Assist with after-hours or weekend support as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree, emphasis in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or Political Science is a plus 2+ years of experience in an agency, strategic consulting firm, political campaign, law, or executive support role Proficient with technology, with comfort adopting new tools quickly; familiarity with generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) for drafting, research, and summarization is expected Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Familiarity with media intelligence platforms such as Cision, Muck Rack, Meltwater, Critical Mention is a plus Ability to read legal documents and use resources like PACER and LexisNexis is a plus Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills Strong research and analytical skills Hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 remote) subject to change This is a non-exempt position with a comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, Disability insurance, 401(k) savings plan, generous paid holidays, vacation, and sick time.
