Job Description

Job Summary The OT Systems Support Specialist will monitor, maintain, configure, and troubleshoot AVEVA/Wonderware Historian and Rockwell FactoryTalk AssetCentre environments. This role is responsible for supporting system availability, performance, data quality, application services, Windows servers, SQL databases, backups, storage, PLC communications, and operational technology environments. The position will also provide technical support to pipeline operations, control room personnel, engineering, and reliability teams. Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain AVEVA/Wonderware Historian and Rockwell FactoryTalk AssetCentre environments to ensure software and services are running properly.
  • Perform daily system health checks and verify application services, Windows servers, SQL databases, backups, storage, and system resources are operational.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues impacting system performance, communication, data collection, replication, telemetry, and SCADA environments.
  • Add and configure new stations, units, assets, sites, and equipment within AVEVA/Wonderware Historian and Rockwell FactoryTalk AssetCentre.
  • Configure and onboard new sites into the AVEVA/Wonderware Historian environment.
  • Monitor historian data quality, tag integrity, and replication between Tier-1 and Tier-2 environments.
  • Investigate missing, inconsistent, or incomplete operational data and implement appropriate resolutions.
  • Support AssetCentre backup operations, version control, firmware comparisons, and PLC change management.
  • Review application logs, Windows Event Viewer, SQL logs, and system alerts to identify and resolve operational issues.
  • Maintain user accounts, Active Directory integration, security roles, and authentication for both platforms.
  • Support PLC communications, device connectivity, historian tag configuration, and AssetCentre asset hierarchy maintenance.
  • Assist pipeline operations, control room personnel, engineering, and reliability teams with troubleshooting, reporting, and historian data requests. Required Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with AVEVA Historian.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Rockwell FactoryTalk AssetCentre. Preferred Qualifications
  • Plant or field experience.
  • Background in automation control systems or industrial environments.
