Position Number 11ASO3732 Position Type Temporary Essential Job Duties Duties include: Assisting with wheat and corn transformation pipeline, managing greenhouse and tissue culture work to transform plants, recover edited plants, and sequence edits. Includes protocol optimization and fine tuning on specific genotypes. Assist with vector design and construction. Develop Taqman qPCR platform. This is a sophisticated piece of work to develop a high throughput molecular essay that all of the projects in the lab can use as a routine process linked to our databases and trailing system. Working with a senior research scholar to develop binary vectors for plant transformation Working across the genome sciences, Lab and Genome Editing Center to co-create multiple plant transformation platforms and deliver plants through transformation and genome editing in multiple industry projects, including dealing with multiple stakeholders and presenting results weekly.
