Scientist (Method Validation)

Piper Companies is seeking a Scientist (Method Validation) to support a pharmaceutical manufacturing organization in Copiague, NY. The Scientist I will support analytical testing, method validation, and method transfer activities within a regulated QC laboratory environment. Responsibilities of the Scientist (Method Validation) Perform analytical testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished products using HPLC and GC Support method validation, verification, and method transfer activities Conduct forced degradation and stability-indicating studies per ICH and USP guidelines Write validation protocols, analytical methods, and technical reports Maintain laboratory documentation in compliance with cGMP and data integrity standards Support cleaning validation activities and routine laboratory maintenance Assist with training and knowledge transfer for QC Chemists Qualifications of the Scientist (Method Validation) B.S. or M.S. in Chemistry or related scientific discipline 4+ years of pharmaceutical QC laboratory experience Hands-on experience with HPLC, GC, and analytical instrumentation Experience supporting method validation and method transfers Strong understanding of cGMP, FDA, USP, and ICH guidelines Experience with Waters Empower or similar CDS platforms preferred Compensation for the Scientist (Method Validation)

Pay Rate:

$45-50/hr. Contract Opportunity with strong potential for extension
