Job Description:
Seeking an experienced and motivated bioanalytical scientist to join a collaborative research and development team. This role focuses on LC-MS-based bioanalysis, including development and transfer of analytical methods to support pharmacokinetic and ADME studies for complex therapeutic modalities. Candidates with strong experience in peptide bioanalysis, mass spectrometry, and drug metabolism are encouraged to apply. LC-MS/MS
bioanalytical methods to support in vitro and in vivo studies, as well as coordinating technical activities with external research partners. This is a hands-on laboratory role that also involves contributing scientific insight to support progression of discovery-stage programs toward development milestones. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional research teams to generate high-quality quantitative bioanalytical data supporting drug discovery and development activities. Design, develop, and optimize
LC-MS/MS
sample preparation workflows and bioanalytical methods for quantification of peptides, biomolecules, and related compounds in biological matrices. Support in vitro ADME, PK/PD, efficacy, and toxicology studies through quantitative bioanalysis and assay execution. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot LC-MS instrumentation and associated laboratory systems. Evaluate and implement new analytical methodologies, instrumentation, and workflows to improve assay performance and throughput. Serve as the bioanalytical lead or representative on project teams, communicating study results and scientific recommendations to internal and external stakeholders. Maintain accurate experimental records and manage study documentation using electronic laboratory systems. Prepare technical and regulatory-supporting reports for internal and external studies. Required Qualifications Advanced degree in analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, bioanalysis, or a related discipline with relevant industry experience in mass spectrometry-based bioanalysis. Strong background in
LC-MS/MS
method development and quantitative bioanalysis, particularly involving peptides or other complex analytes. Experience with operation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of triple quadrupole LC-MS systems. Familiarity with modern LC-MS software platforms and automated sample preparation systems. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience with large molecules, conjugates, biologics, or other complex therapeutic modalities. Prior experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology research environments. Understanding of ADME principles and their application to biologics or advanced therapeutics. Exposure to high-resolution mass spectrometry platforms and advanced analytical techniques. Experience working in regulated laboratory environments and/or with external research organizations.
