Job Description

The Storeroom Manager, or "Food Dude/Foodette" is responsible for receiving and distributing all of the food supplies from a central storeroom to various kitchen and camps. This person works under the supervision of the Food Service Manager and is part of the food service team. This person is "on call" for supplies from early morning until dinner time each day.
Essential Job Functions:
Receive deliveries from wholesale grocers and store properly, rotating stock as appropriate. Keep an inventory on all food, paper and cleaning supplies. Check in with head cooks and Munch Inn daily for order sheets. Deliver food, paper and cleaning supplies to kitchens daily as requested. Maintain cleanliness delivery van. Assist with the collection and disposal of trash around camp as needed. As with any job position at Cheley, you will be living and working in a camp community. At different times throughout the summer you may be asked to help the community some way other than this set job description. This would not interfere with the above duties.

Will train.
Required Skills:
Must have a valid driver's license. Must be patient, organized and flexible. Must be able to work independently without a lot of direction/supervision.
Physical Requirements:
The ability to lift, unload, and move food and supplies around camp (up to 80 pounds) and work 10-12 hour days.
