Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and public spaces to uphold cleanliness standards. Care for floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces to ensure a pristine appearance. Handle janitorial tasks such as disinfecting bathrooms, changing linens, and restocking supplies efficiently. Use industrial cleaning equipment and techniques to maintain large or heavily trafficked areas. Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment for all staff and guests. Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as inventory control and reporting maintenance issues promptly. Support team efforts during peak seasons by adapting quickly to changing priorities and assisting with additional cleaning responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services; hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and safety procedures. Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping management is a plus. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Flexibility to work seasonal hours, including weekends and evenings as required.
