ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a seasonal Purchasing Receiver to join our Purchasing team. This position is responsible for handling all deliveries from receiving, checking quality and amounts, storing in appropriate areas, organizing deliveries and conducting those per various kitchen requests daily.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The seasonal Purchasing Receiver must complete all tasks and assignments as assigned by the Purchasing Director, including but not limited to: Receive all purchases and deliveries Reconcile requisitions in Cedar Creek Software system Check the quality and the quantity of goods delivered and compare to purchase orders Load and organize food and other goods into appropriate spaces, in accordance with all applicable health and safety codes. All products to be dated & rotated on a consistent basis Deliver goods to various kitchens, using the Club van or golf cart as assigned Maintain cleanliness of storage areas & equipment Will be working in various temperatures- kitchens, storerooms, outdoors, refrigerators & freezer. Complete additional assignments as needed

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Must be able to speak, read & write English fluently Prior warehouse, food storeroom experience preferred Must be flexible to meet scheduling needs Ability to operate a motor vehicle (NYS driver's license) required Must be able to communicate & interact professionally with members & employees Ability to read, write and compute basic math Ability to attend to details, work at a fast pace and follow directions well Must possess basic computer skills Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time, lifting and moving boxes of up to 50Lbs on a regular basis Ability to work in a team environment and take responsibility for completing daily assignments diligently

PAY RANGE

$17.00 hourly compensation
