Seasonal Security Guard

Overnight Security Officer & Resort Support We're looking for a dependable, observant, and guest-focused individual to join our team as an Overnight Security Officer & Resort Support team member. This position plays an important role in creating a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for our guests and staff during evening and overnight hours. This is more than just a security position. We're looking for someone who takes pride in being reliable, proactive, and helpful — someone who can confidently handle guest concerns, keep an eye on the property, and assist with light maintenance or operational needs that may arise overnight. Position Summary As the overnight presence on property, you'll serve as the primary point of contact during non-business hours. You'll be responsible for patrolling the resort, responding to guest concerns, enforcing policies, documenting incidents, and helping maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the property overnight. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, approachable to guests, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of the resort's interior and exterior areas, including buildings, grounds, parking areas, and amenities
• Provide a visible, professional, and approachable presence for guests throughout overnight hours
• Respond to guest questions, concerns, and after-hours needs using a company-provided phone
• Monitor for suspicious activity, safety concerns, noise complaints, or unauthorized access
• Enforce resort policies, including quiet hours, parking regulations, and amenity usage
• Respond quickly and professionally to incidents or emergencies following established resort protocols
• Complete clear and accurate incident reports and shift documentation
• Assist with light/basic maintenance tasks as needed, such as replacing light bulbs, addressing minor maintenance concerns, troubleshooting simple issues, restocking supplies, or helping ensure common areas remain clean and operational overnight
• Communicate important updates, incidents, or maintenance concerns to management and day staff
• Support the resort team with additional operational tasks as assigned Qualifications
• Previous experience in security, hospitality, maintenance, or customer service is preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to remain both friendly and authoritative when needed
• Ability to work independently, stay alert, and problem-solve during overnight hours
• Basic maintenance or handyman experience is a plus
• Reliable transportation and strong punctuality are essential
• Must be comfortable walking the property throughout the shift and working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
