Security Officer

Job Summary Under general supervision, provides security for patients, employees and visitors. Protects hospital buildings and assets. Qualifications Education Required High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Experience:

Preferred One year of experience in Public Contact Work Completion of one year of an approved

Security Officer Training Course Certification/Licensure:

Required Valid Texas Driver's License Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Must obtain within ninety (90) days of start date Level

III SAFE

Training Must obtain within ninety (90) days of start date Level II Security Training Licensure with authorization from the State of Texas Must obtain within sixty (60) days of start date. If failure to obtain certification will be subjected to termination. Level III Security Training Licensure with authorization from the State of Texas Must obtain within (6) months of start date. If failure to obtain certification will be subjected to termination. Recertification is required every two (2) years.
