Job Description As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Specialist in Naperville, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and communications location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information as required by site policies, and assist with directing guests, deliveries, and contractors to appropriate locations. Support incident reporting and shift communication by completing detailed logs, noting maintenance and/or security-related issues, and sharing relevant updates with the next officer and site representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
