AM How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts'): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:

In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, visitor management protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a healthcare location. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help control authorized access, verify credentials, and report unusual activity or security-related concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help identify access issues, unsecured entry points, and/or other security-related conditions. Assist with badge checks, visitor sign-in processes, deliveries, and employee entry procedures while maintaining professional interactions and following post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Must be able to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends. Reliable transportation is required. A college degree is required. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Must be 21+ years of age. Must be able to accommodate last minute shift scheduling. Must be able to travel required distances for Branch Flex assignments. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
