AM How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts'): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:

In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor information, and document access activity in accordance with site protocols. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized access and/or security-related incidents. Support screening of employees, visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors entering the location while following established post orders and communication procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Be available to work varying shifts, holidays, nights, and weekends. Have reliable transportation. Be available for last minute shift scheduling. Be able to travel the required distance to assigned work locations. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
