Senior Accountant

Soni is partnering with a well-established luxury retail company on a senior accountant search. The Senior Accountant will take ownership of the full month-end close and core accounting functions, including cash flow, general ledger, and financial reporting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a "roll up your sleeves" environment and wants to build a strong foundation with the opportunity to grow into leadership over time.

Responsibilities:

Lead month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations Manage general ledger activity and prepare financial reports Oversee cash flow and support AP/AR processes Perform balance sheet reconciliations (cash, AR, AP, inventory) Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Assist with audit preparation and financial reporting requirements Maintain accuracy across ERP systems Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 3-5 years of accounting experience Strong experience with month-end close and general ledger Exposure to AP/AR and full-cycle accounting ERP experience required (A2000 a plus) Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.) Solid understanding of

GAAP Preferred Skills:

Experience in retail, wholesale, or distribution environments Exposure to inventory accounting Process improvement mindset

Compensation :

$80,000 - $90,000 Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
