We are seeking an experienced and driven Ocean FCL Import Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on freight forwarding experience and is confident managing the full life cycle of FCL ocean import shipments — from booking through final POD and invoicing. Key Responsibilities:

Manage FCL ocean import shipments from A-to-Z, including all coordination, documentation, and communication File and coordinate ISF (Importer Security Filing) in a timely and accurate manner Send arrival notices to assigned customs brokers and importers upon vessel arrival Coordinate with customers, shippers, and overseas suppliers throughout the shipment lifecycle Prepare and send all required import documents to the assigned customs broker Follow up with the broker and internal team for customs release and provide status updates to customers Issue delivery orders to truckers upon customs release Set up delivery appointments with receivers and coordinate scheduling between truckers, receivers, and customers Follow up on deliveries to confirm completion and obtain Proof of Delivery (POD) Prepare and submit final invoices in collaboration with the accounting team Ensure all shipment data is accurately maintained and updated in the system

Requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in freight forwarding, specifically ocean FCL imports Proven experience handling shipments from A-to-Z (booking through final invoicing) Solid knowledge of ISF filing requirements and customs clearance processes Experience coordinating with customs brokers, truckers, receivers, and overseas agents Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously Excellent communication and follow-through — both written and verbal Detail-oriented with a sense of urgency and accountability Proficiency in freight management systems and

Microsoft Office A Plus:

Experience handling reefer (refrigerated) containers Background in pharmaceutical or temperature-controlled cargo
