Senior Accountant

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur staffing firm is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to identify a Senior Accountant for a direct-hire opportunity in Erlanger, KY. This role is critical to supporting ongoing business growth, acquisition integration, and increasing accounting complexity across operations. This is a hands-on, high-ownership position suited for an experienced accountant who enjoys autonomy, accountability, and being closely involved in day-to-day accounting operations.

Responsibilities:

Maintain general ledger transactions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet accounts Support a fast-paced month-end close, including financial reporting and analysis Reconcile cash, fixed assets, intercompany activity, and bank accounts Prepare internal monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and year-end workpapers Prepare tax forms (1099s, related filings) and support audits and government correspondence Support ERP integration, process improvements, and cross-functional accounting operations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting At least 5 years of general ledger experience SAP software experience helpful Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables and lookups) Experience in manufacturing or complex operating environments Comfortable working 100% onsite Confident, proactive, and self-directed

Pay Details:
