Senior Accountant in CPA firm

Job DescriptionJob Description We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our medium-sized CPA firm, specializing in comprehensive accounting services for small business clients. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in client management, tax preparation, payroll processing, and sales tax reporting and will bring strong problem-solving and communication skills to support our team of 4-10 accounting professionals. Responsibilities Manage client relationships and provide expert accounting support Prepare and file tax returns for corporate and individual clients Monitor compliance with financial regulations and standards Reconcile accounts accurately and timely Process payroll and sale tax ensuring accuracy and compliance Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in accounting Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel Strong communication and problem-solving skills Knowledge of payroll processing and sales tax Experience preparing tax returns for corporations and individuals Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Company DescriptionWe offer training programs to enhance your skills in addition to performance-based compensation including salary and bonuses.
