Senior Accountant with Hyperion Financial Management & Oracle E-Business Specialist

Job Summary:

ssist the Department Manager in the preparation, review, and financial reporting of monthly, quarterly, and supplementary information, issued to the corporate office and Senior Management. Prepare journal entries and accruals during the month-end close process to include a reconciliation of the inter-company activity. nalyze G/L transactions for accuracy to ensure all phases of the general ledger and financial statements are accurately presented. Assist with the preparation of the detailed monthly variance analysis as compared to actual. ssist with the preparation of the inventory reserve calculation as well as inventory management reporting. ssist and prepare schedules on request for periodic internal audits. ssist with other Ad hoc reporting as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with a concentration in accounting. minimum of 5 years related accounting work experience to include prior analytical work in an accounting environment. Experience in a manufacturing/cost accounting environment a strong plus. Must have intermediate/advance excel skill set. Experience with Hyperion Financial Management and Oracle E-Business a strong plus. Strong analytical skills are necessary. Strong attention to detail is necessary. Self-motivated individual and the ability to work independently.
