How you'll make an impact As a Senior Field Service Technician, your primary contribution may behandson technical execution, field leadership, or a combination of both, depending on your background and project needs. Field Leadership Responsibilities Lead and coordinate transformer service activities across installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair, and endoflife projects. Act as the senior onsite technical representative for customers. Coordinate field resources and ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with technical standards. Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to resolve complex field challenges. Technical Responsibilities Perform, oversee, or validate transformer testing and diagnostic activities. Support vacuum processing, oil handling, internal inspections, and component assembly as required by project scope. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support for complex transformer issues. Your background Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States. Associate degree or twoyear technical diploma with 5-10+ years of progressive transformer field service experience, or High School Diploma / GED with 7-12+ years of progressive transformer field service experience. Demonstrated experience performing transformer installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance, repair, and decommissioning activities. Handson experience performingor overseeingtransformer testing and diagnostic activities. Experience with oil handling, vacuum processing, and internal transformer inspections. Valid driver's license with the ability to travel extensively to customer sites. Strong technical problemsolving skills and ability to work effectively in projectbased field environments.
