Back To Results Senior Property Accountant Job Description Senior Property Accountant Who:
A detail-oriented accounting professional with 3-5+ years of property accounting experience.
What:
Manage accounting for a portfolio of single-tenant industrial properties including reconciliations, accruals, reporting, and general ledger review.

Position Overview:
This role offers the opportunity to manage financial accounting functions for a portfolio of single-tenant industrial properties directly for the ownership group.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform bank account reconciliations and initiate transfers/wires for payments. Prepare monthly property accruals, amortization schedules, reports, and supporting schedules. Complete year-end accruals and management fee calculations. Review and maintain multiple general ledgers across 25+ assets. Collaborate with property management teams on financial matters. On-board new property assignments and certify rent rolls. Ensure timely posting of rent payments. Support portfolio finance teams with requests and inquiries. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 3-5+ years of experience as a Property Accountant. Proficiency with MRI or Yardi accounting systems. Strong knowledge of accruals, amortization, and general ledger review. Excellent communication, organizational, and prioritization skills. Real estate property management experience preferred.
