ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Support control system development for custom automation equipment, including PLC and PC‑based systems, under guidance from senior engineers Assist with troubleshooting electrical and control-related issues during system build and testing phases Gain hands-on exposure to automation technologies such as PLCs, HMIs, robots, vision systems, and databases Participate with project and CAPEX teams to learn how customer-specific automation solutions are designed and deployed Learn and follow ATS controls standards, including both new and legacy platforms Help document hardware / software activities, including contributing to technical documentation Work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating professionalism and accountability in assigned tasks

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

The employee may be required to stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor Exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or exert up to 10 pounds of force frequently Visual Acuity

• Normal requirements for reading written instructions and computer screen Hearing Ability
• Normal requirements for understanding verbal instructions Working Conditions
• The employee is subject to a normal office environment with occasional exposure to high noise levels and/or physical hazards when visiting manufacturing floor.

Additional Information

QUALIFICATIONS

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in electrical, controls, computer engineering or equivalent Foundational knowledge of controls / electrical engineering principles Demonstrates good communication and problem-solving skills
