Server Captain

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server Captain to lead our front-of-house team in delivering exceptional dining experience. As a key leader in our catering company daily service operations, ensure smooth team coordination, and uphold the highest standards of customer service and food quality. Your role is vital in fostering a lively, efficient, and welcoming environment that delights guests and supports staff development. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, possesses strong leadership skills, and has extensive experience in food service management within fast-paced or fine dining settings. Duties Lead and motivate the serving team to deliver outstanding guest experience through excellent service and attention to detail Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation, proper food handling, and adherence to food safety standards Oversee shift operations, including managing reservations, seating arrangements, and ensuring efficient table turnover Train new staff members on POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, along with service protocols and food safety procedures Monitor inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels of supplies, beverages, and food items while minimizing waste Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems; oversee cash handling procedures during shifts Supervise staff performance, provide coaching, conduct interviews for hiring new team members, and support ongoing training & development initiatives Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within quick service or fine dining environments Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking processes, and food safety regulations Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling and inventory control is essential Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, and supervising shifts Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally Background in hospitality management or food service management; catering or banquet experience is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of quality and safety Join us as a Server Captain to lead a dynamic team committed to creating memorable dining moments.
