Server Installation Assistant

Responsibilities Assist senior technicians with the delivery and positioning of server hardware at client sites or data centers Prepare installation areas by organizing tools, equipment, and necessary materials to ensure smooth setup processes Support with unboxing, inspecting, and verifying server components against order specifications Help connect servers to power supplies, network cables, and other peripherals following established protocols Conduct basic testing and troubleshooting to confirm that servers operate correctly after installation Document installation procedures, configurations, and any issues encountered during setup Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety standards and company policies Experience Prior experience or familiarity with IT hardware or data center environments is preferred but not required Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical instructions precisely Good physical condition to lift and move server equipment safely and efficiently Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and reporting progress or issues Willingness to learn new technical skills related to server hardware and network connections Basic understanding of electrical safety procedures is a plus This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in technology installation projects.
