Role:
The Server - Waitress plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to guests by providing attentive, friendly, and efficient service. This position requires managing multiple tables simultaneously while ensuring accuracy in taking orders and delivering food and beverages promptly. The Server acts as a liaison between the kitchen and the guests, communicating special requests and dietary needs clearly to ensure customer satisfaction. Additionally, the role involves maintaining a clean and organized work environment, handling payments, and resolving any guest concerns with professionalism. Ultimately, the Server contributes significantly to the restaurant s reputation by fostering a welcoming atmosphere and encouraging repeat business.

PInes Village is looking for Part Time Servers - Waitresses to serve our residents in our independent living community.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required Previous experience in a customer service or food service role preferred but not required. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts. Basic math skills for handling transactions. Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
Responsibilities:
Greet and seat guests in a courteous and timely manner. Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions regarding menu items and ingredients. Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring order accuracy and presentation standards. Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or special requests. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders. Process payments and provide correct change or receipts. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas throughout the shift. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Skills:
The Server uses strong communication skills daily to interact with guests, understand their needs, and provide clear explanations of menu items. Attention to detail is essential when taking orders and ensuring accuracy in food and beverage delivery. Time management and multitasking skills are critical to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high service standards. Basic math and cash handling skills are applied when processing payments and balancing transactions. Additionally, teamwork and problem-solving skills help coordinate with kitchen staff and address any guest concerns promptly, ensuring a smooth dining experience.
