Server/Barista

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating a welcoming and vibrant café atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, ensuring that each guest receives exceptional service while enjoying their favorite beverages. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to a positive team environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with their selections. Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Follow food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health regulations during food handling. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and notifying management when reordering is necessary. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and efficiency. Experience Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Knowledge of food safety practices and cash register operations is beneficial. A friendly demeanor with strong communication skills to interact positively with customers.
