This energetic role combines exceptional customer service with efficient food and beverage handling, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. You'll be responsible for taking orders, serving food and drinks, managing cash transactions, and maintaining a clean, organized dining environment. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met Manage cash handling duties, including processing payments accurately and giving correct change Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining sanitation standards in the dining area Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and service stations throughout shifts Skills Bilingual in Spanish & English is a Must Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy Previous experience in serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles is highly desirable Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding menu items and food preparation processes Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences!
