Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team at Amundson Roofing as a Sheet Metal Worker and become a vital contributor to precision metal fabrication. In this role, you will be responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and inspecting sheet metal components used across our vast roofing ventures. Your expertise will ensure that each piece meets strict quality standards and specifications, supporting the creation of durable, high-quality products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and innovative fabrication techniques in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. Duties Program CNC equipment is a plus. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment such as press brakes, soldering and welding tools to assemble and modify sheet metal parts. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics to guide fabrication and assembly tasks. Operate forklifts & machinery safely for material handling and movement within the workspace. Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety protocols related to electrical discharge machining, tooling use, and machinery operation. Qualifications Experience working with sheet metal fabrication processes including brakes, soldering and welding techniques is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings. Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and blueprint interpretation. Experience with hand tools, tooling setup, assembly processes, and fabrication techniques in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of safety procedures related to forklift handling and general machinery safety standards. Eagerness to learn & grow your skills! High School Diploma, Certifications, etc are a plus. Pay:
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour
