Immerse yourself in a cutting-edge Intensive Care Unit, where you'll encounter diverse patient populations and work alongside leaders in critical care. With every shift, you'll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, broaden your nursing skills, and observe innovative practices in patient-centered care. This role is ideal for RNs eager to enhance their resumes with high-acuity ICU experience, exposure to a variety of patient situations, and the flexibility of per-diem scheduling.
Schedule/Hours:
12-hour night shifts (7:00pm - 7:00am) Per-diem coverage; hours are variable with no guaranteed minimumQualifications:
Current unrestricted RN license Minimum of 2 years ICU experience preferred BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Adaptability to fast-paced, changing environments Effective communication and teamwork abilitiesRole Responsibilities:
Deliver expert, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, intervening as needed Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and support staff Participate in rapid responses and code situations Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and treatment protocols Maintain compliance with facility policies, state, and federal regulationsBenefits & Travel Perks:
