Shipping and Receiving Associate

We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Associate . Join our manufacturing team where your attention to detail ensures mission-critical safety for the aerospace, defense sector and commercial sectors. Key Responsibilities Unpacking and inspecting items for damage, verify packing lists against Purchase Orders. Documenting material traceability in accordance with AS9100 Rev D (Clause 8.5.2) via certificates of conformity and certified material test reports to trace material lot, batch or serial number provided by vendor. Marking/Labeling materials with Job # and Purchase Order # and move to staging areas. Recording receipts into ERP system and scanning material documentation to appropriate job folders and vendor files. Photograph finished goods/parts prior to packaging and file photos electronically to the appropriate job folders. Prepare, package and label items for shipment. Ability to build wooden crates as necessary for the safe transportation of outgoing machined parts when cardboard boxes are not sufficient to maintain the safe transportation and quality of machined parts. Maintain inventory of packaging and shipping supplies. Requirements & Qualifications Possess valid Forklift certification or ability to obtain a Forklift certification. 3+ years of Shipping and Receiving experience preferably within a job shop manufacturing environment. Possess excellent record keeping skills and have attention to detail in all areas related to the position. Maintain a clean work area Demonstrate effective communication and neat, legible handwriting.
