Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on, customer-focused Site Manager to oversee onsite tool crib, inventory, purchasing, and stockroom operations within a manufacturing environment. This role serves as the primary point of contact supporting daily production and maintenance operations by ensuring critical tools, MRO supplies, and consumables are accurately managed, replenished, and readily available. This position is ideal for a professional with experience in industrial distribution, tool crib operations, inventory control, purchasing, warehouse operations, or MRO environments who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing setting. The Site Manager will play a critical role in driving inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, cost savings, and overall customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Tool Crib & Inventory Operations Oversee daily tool crib, stockroom, and onsite inventory operations to ensure organization, accuracy, and efficiency Issue tools, supplies, and consumables to production and maintenance personnel based on operational requirements Maintain accurate inventory records, stock levels, and material transactions within inventory management systems Perform cycle counts, monitor inventory discrepancies, and support continuous inventory accuracy initiatives Ensure proper storage, organization, and maintenance of tools and equipment Purchasing & Supply Chain Support Analyze inventory usage trends, system reports, and replenishment data to forecast purchasing needs Create and manage purchase orders for stock replenishment, special orders, and customer requests using ERP systems such as P21 (Prophet 21) Track vendor acknowledgements, lead times, and delivery schedules to ensure uninterrupted supply availability Coordinate with suppliers, internal purchasing teams, and customer stakeholders to resolve shortages and expedite critical materials Customer Service & Operational Support Serve as the onsite liaison between the customer and internal teams, delivering exceptional customer service and responsive support Prepare product quotes and sourcing solutions for new requests, projects, and operational needs Identify opportunities to improve inventory efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize stock levels Generate reports related to inventory performance, usage trends, pricing, turnover, and operational KPIs Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory control, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction Qualifications & Experience High School Diploma or GED required 2+ years of experience in inventory management, purchasing, tool crib operations, warehouse operations, or industrial distribution preferred Experience supporting manufacturing, MRO, maintenance, or industrial environments strongly preferred Working knowledge of industrial tools, cutting tools, safety products, or maintenance supplies is highly desirable Experience with ERP systems, inventory software, or purchasing platforms such as P21/Prophet 21 preferred Strong understanding of cycle counts, FIFO inventory practices, replenishment, and inventory optimization
