Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in students' lives by providing speech and language services in a supportive, collaborative school environment. This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) who enjoys working with K-12th grade students, primarily at the elementary level. Both short- and long-term career growth is possible as you develop your clinical skills across a diverse and engaging caseload. Bring your expertise in school-based speech therapy—whether you're an experienced SLP-CCC, an SLP working toward your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or an SLPA with a passion for working with children. Teletherapy and onsite options may be available for select candidates.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (for SLPs) or Associate's/Bachelor's degree (for SLPAs) Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP or SLPA Previous experience with school-based therapy, K-12 student populations, or pediatric caseloads preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech and language disorders, primarily elementary-aged Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to support student success Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
