Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and proactive individual to join our Media Team as a Social Media Intern (Unpaid). In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining an active and engaging presence for our team across all social media platforms, keeping fans informed and excited about our activities both on and off the field.
Reports To:
  • Social Media Coordinator Responsibilities:
  • Main focus of the role will be to create short form video content and post match updates on Twitter.
  • Maintain a daily presence on all social media platforms, specifically Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter/X.
  • Ideate social media content plans, including posting schedule and themed content series, to maintain consistency and relevance.
  • Analyze social media metrics and performance data to track progress, identify trends, and inform future content strategies and campaigns.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in social media management or digital marketing, with a strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions to engage fans and drive social media growth.
  • Passion for soccer and a basic understanding of the sport and its culture is preferred but not required.
