The primary focus of the position is social media content creation, email marketing support, video content assistance, and helping create marketing materials that can be distributed throughout the Dog Guard network. Because we are a growing small business, this role also includes assisting with fulfillment and shipping operations approximately one day per week, depending on staffing needs and scheduling. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of marketing, content creation, and business operations within a growing company. Primary Responsibilities Social Media & Content Creation Create and schedule social media posts for Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms Help develop engaging content focused on dogs, pet safety, customer stories, and Dog Guard products Assist in creating short-form video content, photos, and promotional materials Help maintain brand consistency across social media and marketing materials Monitor engagement and assist with basic social media analytics Assist with content planning and marketing calendars Email Marketing & Dealer Support Organize and distribute marketing materials using Constant Contact Help create newsletters, announcements, and promotional email campaigns Assist with developing content Local Pros can use in their own marketing efforts Coordinate and organize digital marketing assets and promotional materials Creative & Administrative Support Help organize photos, videos, and digital content libraries Gather customer testimonials, reviews, and success stories Assist with updating marketing materials and promotional campaigns Support miscellaneous marketing and administrative projects as needed Shipping & Operational Support Assist with fulfillment and shipping operations approximately one day per week Prepare outgoing shipments and materials for Dealers and customers Help maintain organization within shipping and operational areas Assist other team members as needed in a collaborative small-business environment Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable with social media platforms and content creation Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Positive attitude and willingness to learn Comfortable working in a collaborative small-team environment Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and adapt to changing priorities Basic photo/video editing experience is a plus Experience with Canva, Constant Contact, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar tools is Preferred Traits Creative and self-motivated Comfortable taking initiative Interested in marketing, branding, and content creation Team-oriented with a flexible mindset Enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Loves dogs and the pet industry What We Offer Opportunity to build real-world marketing and content experience Hands-on involvement in multiple areas of a growing business Collaborative and team-oriented work environment Opportunity to contribute creative ideas and projects Meaningful work helping keep pets safe at home Experience supporting a nationally recognized pet brand
