Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Management Analyst III to support the State of Delaware. This role is ideal for a highly analytical professional with strong organizational skills who enjoys improving processes, working with data, and supporting public service operations. The selected candidate will assist with research, analysis, reporting, and administrative projects that help ensure the efficient operation of Delaware's Vital Statistics programs.
Responsibilities:
Conduct research and analyze operational, financial, and administrative data Prepare reports, summaries, recommendations, and presentations for management Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency Monitor projects and assist with implementation of new initiatives Develop and maintain spreadsheets, databases, and tracking systems Compile statistical information and prepare performance reports Interpret policies, procedures, and regulations Assist with special projects and administrative assignments as needed Collaborate with staff across departments to support agency objectives
Qualifications:
Experience performing analytical, administrative, or program management work Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to analyze data and present findings clearly Experience working in a government, healthcare, or public administration environment is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with process improvement or program evaluation Knowledge of public health or vital records operations Experience preparing reports using large datasets Why Apply?
