The Office of the Illinois Senate President seeks a thoughtful, independent, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational and interpersonal skills to work directly with a member of the Illinois Senate as a legislative assistant. Exceptional candidates will be able to participate in a fast-paced environment that frequently includes extended hours. Regular duties include constituent casework, maintenance of bill files and materials important to the senator's legislative agenda, and office administration including scheduling/calendar maintenance, meeting organization, and other duties at the discretion of the legislator.
