Job Summary The Manager, Certificates will ensure regulatory compliance and oversee documentation for safety and quality standards. This role works closely with the Construction and Operations teams on various interstate pipeline projects and ensures compliance with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). Key Accountabilities Advise project teams of regulatory requirements for construction, including projects subject to FERC and the Natural Gas Act ("NGA"): Automatic blanket projects Prior notice projects Advance notice projects 7(c) projects Draft and file FERC certificate applications and notices Coordinate with project team members for inputs needed for FERC certificate applications and notices Perform research on FERC precedent and regulations for complex regulatory questions Interface with FERC on project development Manage data response process on FERC certificate applications Assist with FERC open houses Provide regulatory reporting support May perform other duties as assigned Minimum Education & Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree 10 years of direct job-related experience in energy industry Expertise in interstate pipeline permitting requirements, policies, guidance, and industry standards, including those relevant to FERC and NGA Section 7 permitting. Broad understanding of federal, state, and local regulations, codes, standards and permits required to construct LNG and pipeline facilities, including but not limited to the Natural Gas Act, the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, and the
National Environmental Policy Act Preferred:
Leadership experience Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences, Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Process Safety, etc.), or a related field. Other Requirements Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex projects Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word and ExcelSimilar remote jobs
