Job Description

DEFINITION
 Works jointly with other loan administrative members to ensure safety and soundness in all non-mortgage lending activities  Understand and apply loan, accounting, coding and operations policy to individual credit transactions  Communicate findings on loans and working with loan officers, lending assistants, and others involved in the credit origination and credit administration functions.  Critical responsibility of loan data integrity  Follow up on delegated assignments in an autonomous fashion  Maintain a very high level of service to our internal customers  Identify areas where the credit administration process can be improved, and communicating ideas and findings to his or her supervisor
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Review consumer loan data for compliance, ensure adequate corrective action and oversight are provided  Assist in clearing of loan errors through the responsible lending team  Address and clear loan exceptions  Assist in pre and post-loan review  Be a resource to all lending staff to understand and resolve problems in all phases of lending within the bank  Accept and act on special assignments made by the supervisor, CCO or Bank Presidents  Coordinate all activities with other members of credit administration  Ongoing training and assessments according to need  Occasional travel as required  Occasional overtime is required  Must be very familiar with Cache Valley Bank's credit policy  Must work toward being on his or her own after 90 days and be capable of resolving loan documentation issues with lending teams through collaboration and interaction with the lending teams, compliance officers and with leadership within credit administration
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
 Experience not necessary; prior lending experience preferred  Must be a self-starter and capable of working individually within 90 days  Communicate clearly, accurately and cordially through email and telephone  Must have good, active listening skills and a desire to follow through on every assignment  Ability to build simple worksheets and reports in Excel and other Microsoft Office products  Must have problem solving skills  Knowledge of loan documentation experience is helpful but not required  Sparak banking system experience preferred.  Excellent customer service skills, outgoing, able to tactfully resolve issues as they arrive  Detail oriented, accurate and efficient  Team player who also displays individual initiative  Maintain the highest ethical standards as defined by Cache Valley Bank's vision and values
