Full Job Description Description:
The Ascendancy Group's Mission To be the unequaled provider of special operations forces (SOF) and Intelligence Community focused technical, service, and training-based solutions. Opportunity The Ascendancy Group is seeking a highly qualified Counterintelligence Subject Matter Expert for a full-time position in the Hampton Roads Virginia area. The ideal candidate will bring deep CI analysis expertise, deep knowledge of technical CI risk mitigation, proven operational experience, and the ability to support institution building to enable complex operations.
Security Requirement:
Possess a
TOP-SECRET
security clearance with SCI eligibility. A favorable counterintelligence polygraph may be required.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Interact with personnel from the GS-11 to Senior Executive Service level, providing briefings, operational planning input, education, guidance and mentorship to support operational planning. Provide mission planning and CI advisory and analysis support, with an emphasis on technical risks to operational teams and decision makers. Assist in the preparation, execution, and post-mission assessment of operations. Identify CI risks, threats, and indicators relevant to unit activities and provide actionable mitigation strategies. Develop and deliver CI guidance, awareness, and best-practice recommendations to operational personnel. Coordinate with internal and external mission partners to ensure integrated intelligence and CI support. Produce clear, concise reporting and documentation to support ongoing and future operational requirements.
Requirements:
Position Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of operational experience in counterintelligence and counterespionage against hard target adversaries Minimum of 10 years' experience leading, planning, and executing counterintelligence within the intelligence community. Knowledge of up-to-date UTS threats, OPSEC measures, surveillance and countersurveillance methodologies. Experience supporting sensitive activities (SA) in domestic and foreign environments. Executive level communication and presentation skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing. Experience working SA requirements in joint/interagency environments Ability to successfully work in an environment that is fast paced while completing multiple tasks, and meeting stringent timelines Proficiently operate a computer with common/standard business software programs including MS Office suite Possess a valid state driver's license Possess/obtain a valid US Passport Intelligence Community, or Law Enforcement background preferred.
