We are looking for professionals that are willing to go through Traffic Management training and bring safety to our roads and the public. Full Time Employment (40 Hour Work Week with Overtime) •Day shift work combined with mandatory rotating night schedule Assigned Company Work Truck to perform work Set up and maintain the maintenance of traffic work zones to meet customer and FDOT needs. Perform lane closures, road closures, signage and cones on local roads. Maintain regular, punctual attendance during regularly scheduled work hours at assigned worksite. 1-2 years of MOT/Traffic Control experience is preferred. Work a flexible schedule which may include evenings, weekends and holidays. Adhere to all FDOT Standard Plan Indexes and safety guidelines. Work as a team to ensure proper work zone coverage and safety awareness. Physical ability to move traffic control equipment (up to 50 lbs), stand and walk under outdoor (hot or cold) temperatures. Must maintain a courteous and professional manner with co-workers, customers, and the public. Able to be flexible with last-minute schedule changes. Plans, organizes and supervises all equipment and materials needed to set-up, take down, maintain traffic control, and handle traffic-related situations. Safely loads/unloads MOT equipment and protects company's assets by following security plan and loss prevention practices Provide verbal and written status reports to Manager using email, phone, form app and all other communication tools.
