Pittsburgh, PA Job Details Full-time 17 hours ago Qualifications Data visualization software proficiency Business intelligence report generation SQL Business intelligence tools Data analysis software Database software proficiency Full Job Description As Data Analyst, USCA Transportation, you are responsible for supporting transportation and logistics operations through data analysis, performance measurement, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives. You serve as a key analytical resource supporting logistics transformation, transportation operations, carrier management, network optimization, and continuous improvement efforts. You collaborate with stakeholders across various functions within PPG to develop actionable insights, identify improvement opportunities, and support strategic decision-making through data-driven analysis. You will work out of the Corporate HQ office in Pittsburgh and report to the Associate Director, Logistics Operations & Planning. Responsibilities Analyze transportation performance, freight spend, service levels, network flows, and operational efficiency to identify trends, risks, root causes, and improvement opportunities across all transportation modes. Develop, maintain, and enhance transportation dashboards, scorecards, KPI reporting, and business intelligence tools that support operational and executive decision-making. Ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and consistency across transportation systems, ERP platforms, and reporting solutions while supporting data governance and quality improvement initiatives. Provide analytical support for carrier management, transportation sourcing events, bid analyses, contract reviews, and performance measurement against cost and service objectives. Support transportation network optimization, route design, shipment consolidation, modeling, and other initiatives that improve service, efficiency, and total logistics cost. Participate in logistics transformation projects and digital solution initiatives by supporting system implementation, testing, validation, adoption, continuous improvement, and project execution activities. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, Finance, IT, and Commercial teams to communicate insights, present recommendations, drive process improvements, and measure realized business benefits. Requirements BS/BA degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. (3+) years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain analytics, business intelligence, or related analytical roles. Advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms. Experience working with Transportation Management Systems (OTM, SAP TM, Blue Yonder, or equivalent). Knowledge of SQL, database reporting tools, and data analytics methodologies. Understanding of transportation operations, freight management, and supply chain processes. Experience with logistics network modeling and transportation optimization tools is preferred.
