Job Description:
TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc., has an opening in its Anderson, SC office for a Sr. Transportation Analyst that will assist in the day-to-day operations of the company's transportation department to include the assignment of domestic and international carriers while following established cost containment procedures. This position also supports the company's customs compliance programs by working closely with our customs broker, as well as internal and external customers. This position will interact heavily with distribution, supply chain, sales and finance personnel on a daily basis. Position Summary The Sr. Transportation Analyst is responsible for optimizing domestic and international transportation operations through data analysis, carrier management, freight cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role partners closely with Supply Chain, Distribution, Finance, and external logistics providers to enhance service performance, reduce costs, and ensure compliance. Key Responsibilities Transportation Operations Manage domestic and international freight movements across multiple transportation modes. Coordinate carrier selection and routing decisions to balance cost, service, and capacity. Monitor container activity, including demurrage and detention exposure, and communicate risk to stakeholders. Support customs compliance and export documentation activities. Analyze transportation spending, carrier performance, and service metrics to identify improvement opportunities. Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs. Support RFQs, carrier bids, and contract evaluations through data-driven analysis. Lead or support continuous improvement and transportation optimization projects. Collaborate with Supply Chain, Distribution, Finance, and external carriers. Provide freight cost estimates and operational recommendations. Mentor junior team members and support process standardization. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field, preferred. 5+ years of transportation, logistics, or supply chain experience. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with domestic and international transportation operations. Working knowledge of customs compliance and freight regulations. Preferred Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar tools. Experience with SAP, Oracle, OTM, or other transportation management systems. Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and transportation analytics.
