Job Description
Bridge Tower Homes is a Dallas-based homebuilder and residential land developer focused on delivering thoughtfully designed, high-quality communities across Texas and the Sunbelt. As a fully integrated real estate platform, the company manages the entire development lifecycle, including land acquisition, entitlement, development, construction, leasing and sales. Overview The Land Acquisition Manager will be based in Houston and will focus on pursuing residential land opportunities across Texas, with primary emphasis on the Houston market. The position will be responsible for supporting and growing our land pipeline while developing sustainable sourcing strategies aligned with company objectives. The role will identify, evaluate, and execute the acquisition of land tracts and/or finished lots consistent with Bridge Tower's growth and investment goals. This role offers significant exposure to deal sourcing, underwriting, entitlement coordination, and executive-level decision-making. Job Requirements Establish and maintain strong relationships with developers, landowners, brokers, builders, and third-party vendors to ensure access to potential opportunities and market intelligence within assigned markets. Identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities for land and finished lots, including sourcing on-market and off-market opportunities. Assist in preparing and issuing Letters of Intent (LOIs), support negotiations, complete financial underwriting, and assist in preparing purchase agreements for land and lot acquisitions. Prepare and assemble land acquisition packages including data gathering, due diligence coordination, and financial analysis for internal review and approval. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging submarkets and development trends. Coordinate due diligence efforts including engineering, environmental, title, and municipal review processes. Collaborate with internal development, construction, sales, and executive teams to ensure alignment on acquisition assumptions and project feasibility.
Knowledge & Skills:
Ability to analyze data and make sound, timely decisions based on facts, market trends, and financial metrics. Strong understanding of residential land acquisition underwriting, yield analysis, and development cost evaluation. Knowledge of Houston residential land markets. Ability to build and maintain professional relationships within the land development and brokerage community. Highly motivated, self-driven, and action-oriented with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively. Ability to present acquisition opportunities and supporting analysis effectively to internal stakeholders. Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work within cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges. Education Undergraduate degree, preferably in a related field (Finance/Economics, Engineering, Real Estate, Planning, Civil Engineering, Real Estate Development, or related discipline). Minimum of 3-5 years of verifiable land acquisition, land development, or residential real estate development experience required. Land entitlement and development experience is a plus.
