r43067-86047 Job Description School Counselor Full-Time Arizona | ASAPMay 20, 2027 We are seeking a School Counselor to support students across five nearby school campuses in a primarily K8 general education setting . This is an excellent opportunity for a counselor who enjoys working with students across multiple grade levels and collaborating with school staff to support students academic, social, and emotional development. The counselor will primarily serve elementary and middle school students, with the potential to support some high school students as needed. The schools are located within just a few miles of one another, with one primary office location where the counselor will be based.

Primary Location:
One designated office/campus, with support provided across the five schools Responsibilities Provide individual and small-group counseling services to students Support students academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other school personnel Identify student needs and provide appropriate counseling and support Assist students with social-emotional learning, problem-solving, and coping skills Maintain appropriate documentation and student records Support school-wide counseling initiatives and student wellness programs Provide additional support to students with IEPs when needed due to caseload overflow Travel between nearby school campuses as needed Minimum Qualifications Masters degree in Counseling and Guidance from a regionally accredited college or university Valid certificate as a Guidance Counselor Preferred Qualifications Valid Arizona teaching certification Previous experience working in a K8 school setting Experience providing individual and group counseling services Strong communication and collaboration skills Why This Opportunity?
