Setting:

School-Based, Multi-School Position Overview We are seeking a School Counselor to support a school district in Winslow, Arizona for the remainder of the 20262027 school year. This full-time opportunity will primarily support K8 students , with the potential to work with some high school students as well. The counselor will work across five school locations , all within a few miles of one another. There will likely be one primary office where the counselor will officially be housed, while providing counseling support throughout the schools as needed. This position primarily supports general education students , with students receiving IEP services only as needed to assist with overflow that cannot be managed in-house. Job Responsibilities Provide school-based counseling support to primarily K8 students Support students' academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and school support teams Provide individual and/or group counseling as appropriate Assist students with problem-solving, coping skills, and social-emotional development Support students across multiple school buildings Assist with students receiving special education services when additional support is needed Position Highlights Full-time position ASAP start through May 20, 2027 Primarily K8 caseload , with some potential high school support Flexible caseload with no set caseload currently established Work across five nearby school locations One primary office location is expected Primarily supports general education students Special education involvement limited to overflow needs when applicable

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree in Counseling and Guidance from a regionally accredited college or university Valid certificate as a

Guidance Counselor Preferred Qualifications:

Valid Arizona teacher certification Previous school-based counseling experience preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively across multiple school settings Compensation Competitive hourly compensation based on experience, school district budget, and assignment details.
