Burbank and surrounding Los Angeles communities;/About the PositionWe are seeking a compassionate, experienced Licensed School-Based Clinician to provide individual mental health services to children and adolescents in private school settings.

The clinician will primarily provide services on campus for Catholic, Jewish, and other private-school environments, working closely with students, parents, teachers, counselors, and school administrative staff to support each student's emotional, behavioral, academic and social well-being.

Experience working directly with children in a school-based setting is a must. One of the schools we are looking to give counseling services for, at 6 hours a week, is located at 145 West 64th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90003 . The 6 hours must be done at this location. Qualifications Candidates should have one of the following professional credentials, as applicable to their state of licensure:

LCSW LPCC LMFT

The ideal candidate will have: Experience providing mental health services to children and adolescents Previous experience working in a school-based setting Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to collaborate effectively with parents Ability to work professionally with teachers, counselors, and school administrators Experience with behavioral, emotional, social, or academic-related concerns affecting students Strong professional boundaries and documentation skills Professional references who can speak to clinical and/or school-based experience Successful completion of required background screening and fingerprint clearance Experience working within Catholic, Jewish, or other private-school communities is preferred but is not required. Responsibilities Provide individual counseling/therapy sessions to students, generally 30-45 minutes per student Develop a positive therapeutic relationship with students Identify and address emotional, behavioral, social, and mental-health concerns Collaborate with parents and caregivers regarding student needs and progress, consistent with confidentiality requirements Collaborate with teachers and school administrative staff to support students Participate in care coordination and school-based team collaboration Maintain appropriate clinical documentation and records Follow all applicable professional, ethical, confidentiality, and school policies Communicate concerns appropriately and participate in student-support planning when needed Location Our organization is located at: 4603 Lankershim Blvd Suite 720, North Hollywood 91602 Services are primarily provided at participating private schools in the Burbank/Los Angeles area.
