$55-$65 per hour Make a Meaningful Impact in Students' Lives We are seeking a compassionate, student-centered School Counselor to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success for the 2026-2027 school year . This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated counseling professional who is passionate about helping students overcome barriers, develop resilience, and achieve their full potential. The School Counselor will work closely with students, families, teachers, administrators, and community partners to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities Design and implement prevention and intervention strategies that promote student success. Provide individual and group counseling services to address academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs. Utilize student data and assessments to identify needs and develop targeted support plans. Implement evidence-based counseling techniques and interventions. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to improve student outcomes. Participate in multidisciplinary teams, including MTSS, RTI, student support, and problem-solving teams. Serve as a liaison between the school, families, community organizations, and outside service providers. Provide consultation and support to parents and staff regarding student mental health and wellness. Assist with crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and behavioral support initiatives. Maintain appropriate records, documentation, and confidentiality standards. Participate in ongoing professional development and training. Model and promote the school's mission, culture, and core values. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Master's Degree in School Counseling or related field. Active Colorado School Counselor License/Endorsement or eligibility to obtain licensure. Experience providing individual and group counseling services. Knowledge of social-emotional learning (SEL), behavioral interventions, and student mental health support. Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Previous K-12 school counseling experience. Experience with MTSS, RTI, IEP, and/or 504 processes. Crisis intervention and threat assessment experience. Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and restorative approaches. Experience collaborating with families and community partners.
